luput II may have been a king of the XXIII Dynasty. He was one of Egypt's rulers of Libyan origin who had to submit to the Kushite king Piye when Piye invaded Egypt c. 728 BCE. The plaque is dated to c. 754-720 BCE or 715 BCE.
