FABERGE (1841-1918)
Modern Revivalist; Art Nouveau Jewelry and goldsmith firm
(St. Petersburg, 1841 - 1918, St. Petersburg)

Founded by Gustav Faberge (1814-1872) in St. Petersburg. His son Peter Carl (1846-1920) took over the firm in 1870. Gustav's other son Agathon (1862-1895) joined the firm in 1882. The firm became Supplier to the Imperial Court of Russia in 1885. The firm closed in 1918 after the Russian Revolution.
