Slightly smaller that the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon also features a huge open courtyard in the rough configuration of the Mesoamerican completion sign that flows from smaller talud-tablero structure that abuts the pyramid. Dedicated to the Great Goddess and her cult, the pyramid appears to possess the mountain and channel her forces to the city.
