This bronze plaque was intended to decorate a piece of wooden furniture. These reliefs are designed in Orientalizing style that is fundamentally Greek. The plaque depicts winged lions and winged horses- these fabled animals are affiliated with the mythological Mistress of the Animals. The location of the creation of this plaque is unknown.
