"Henry Belasyse was the son of Sir Thomas Belasyse of Newborough, 1st Viscount Fauconberg of Henknowle (1577-1653). Henry's son Thomas was 2nd Viscount, Earl Fauconberg. Thomas, right, is in court dress holding an Earl's coronet. Henry, left, is in Roman garb. The family (the surname is also spelled Belasis, Bellasis, Belassis) lived in Coxwold."
