This krater showing the goat-god Pan chasing a shepherd with ithyphallic herm in background is the vase for which the Pan Painter was named by the Classical scholar J.D. Beazley. The reverse scene is of Artemis killing Acteon. The vase was possibly found in Cumae (Cuma) near Naples.
