Designed to defend the main gates of the Kremlin but never fired. Named for Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich (r. 1584-1598). The caliber is 890 mm. The cannon weighs approximately 39312 kg. Considered the largest cannon in the world. Each of the four cast-iron cannonballs weighs a ton. In the background is the Church of the Twelve Apostles (1635-1656).
