"Jane was the first wife of Sir William Waller (c.1598-1668) (married August 1622). She had a son (1631) and daughter (1633), and died May 1633. Waller, a Parliamentarian general in the English Civil War, was defeated by Royalists at Roundway Down, July 1643. The tomb, located in the south transept, was damaged when the Royalists occupied Bath."
