"The cathedral was designed by von Knobelsdorff, and built by Johann Boumann according to von Knobelsdorff's plans. It had once been thought that Jean-Laurent Legeay (1710-1786) was the architect/designer. St. Hedwig's was restored after World War II, in 1952-63."
