Made exclusively to display the talents of the designer and the skills of the craftsmen. Exhibited at the Paris International Exhibition of 1855. Prignot was the designer; Jackson & Graham was the cabinet-making firm; and Minton supplied the porcelain plaques. Other firms involved were Cope & Collinson (metal casting) and Elkington & Co. (electroplating).
