Grand Duchess Olga (youngest sister of Tsar Nicholas II) founded the Eveniinski Hospital in Proskurov (Ukraine) in 1911. The hospital was for soldiers of the 12th Akhtyrsky Hussar Regiment of the Imperial Russian Forces for which the Grand Duchess served as honorary Commander-in-Chief.
