Part of reconstructed temple dedicated to the Sumerian Goddess Inanna (Ishtar). The image is a frontal view of the baked brick façade with male (left) and female (right) deities within niches. Although dedicated to a Sumerian Goddess- inscription evidence indicates the temple dates back to the Kassite ruler Kara-indash and the late 15th c BCE.
