Glyptothek object 218. Also known as Drunken Satyr; possibly a Roman copy of a Hellenistic original. Discovered in Rome in the 1620s and acquired by Cardinal Francesco Barberini and housed at the Palazzo Barberini. Heavily restored. The sculpture was purchased by Ludwig I of Bavaria in 1814.
